Receiving an Assessment Invitation

As outlined in our Preview and Share Your Assessment article, there are 3 ways a user can receive an Assessment invitation.

If the Assessment is shared using a text code:

  • The user must text the appropriate code (found under the Share tab of the Assessment) to the 5-digit number provided.

  • The user will receive a clickable link that will open in their mobile browser.

  • Currently the text code functionality is only available in the United States.

If the Assessment is shared using a link:

  • The user can just click on or paste the link into a web browser on any computer or mobile device.

If the Assessment is shared using a QR code:

  • The user simply scans the QR code using the camera on a smartphone (or web-enabled mobile tablet with camera) and the Assessment should open automatically.

Taking an Assessment

Whether you send the Assessment using a text code, URL, or QR code, users will be directed to the Assessment welcome page. Click "Start Assessment" to begin, and simply answer each question on your computer or mobile device.

Question Formatting & Options

Once a user is in the Assessment, question formats and answer options will vary, so it is critical to read each response carefully. Users tap or click on the response that best represents how they feel and the Assessment will automatically move to the next question.

A user can change a response at any time by scrolling up, since responses aren't recorded until they click "Continue" at the end of the Assessment. After responding to every question or statement, click "Continue."

Assessment Completion

There are a few different possible outcomes once users have completed the Assessment based on how it was configured:

  • Users can land on a page thanking them for participating in the Assessment.

  • Users can be redirected to a custom URL instead of landing on the thank you page.

  • For certain Assessments, users will be able to view their results.

  • If a default Next Step has been assigned, after the thank you page users will be directed to the additional content configured in the Assessment settings.
