Quick Responses are a Gloo texting feature that use natural language processing to detect when people are asking about different topics related to your church. There are 9 topics built into the Gloo system that congregants commonly ask about.

When someone texts a question related to any of the Quick Response topics, Gloo will automatically text back the response you set up. Think of Quick Responses as "smart replies" to people's commonly asked questions. This is different from custom Keywords, which must be texted in exactly and alone in order to trigger the response.

How to set up Quick Responses in the mobile app

  1. Tap Keywords, then tap Quick Responses.

  2. Tap the Gear icon for the Quick Response category you want to set up.

  3. Add the default response you want a user to receive when they ask a question related to that topic. When you’re finished, tap Create Quick Response.

Pro tip: Add Effects to your Keyword so that the system will perform some additional administrative tasks for you like adding people to groups and emailing team members! For now, you must visit the web application at app.gloo.us to add/edit Effects.
