Viewing Your Data

By default, data from your Church Metrics account will be compared with national averages. However, you can use the location toggles at any time to change this. You can mix and match any combination you'd like and compare:

  • Two of your campuses to each other

  • One of your campuses to national averages

  • All of your campuses combined to national average

Or, just completely remove one of the boxes to view only the data from one campus, or only the national averages.

Note that 4 Categories are pulled in by default from your Church Metrics account- Attendance, Salvations, Volunteers, and Contributions. These can be either normal Categories or Parent Categories in your Church Metrics account, but the key is that the name must match exactly!

For example, if you have a Parent Category in your Church Metrics account called "Total Attendance" that you use to sum up in person attendance, online attendance, etc, that data will not be pulled into Gloo because the name doesn't match. If you'd like that data pulled into Gloo, we recommend changing the Parent Category name in Church Metrics to simply be "Attendance."

For whichever category you select, you will see the data in numerical form, as well as in graphical form, with numbers/lines in different colors based on your comparisons.

The 4 categories above (Attendance, Salvations, Volunteers, and Contributions) are the only 4 categories that national averages exist for. However, you are still free to pull in other categories as well to view in your Gloo account! Simply click the Add Category button and select the category you'd like to view. This will pull the data in from your Church Metrics account, and while you can compare the data between 2 of your campuses, no national averages will be available for comparison.
