Are you trying to upload a CSV file to add People to your Gloo Workspace account, but it isn't working? There are a few reasons your CSV file may not be uploading. Check for these things:
If you have not already done so, before uploading a CSV file you'll need to go through a quick verification process first. Just click the Verify your ID button at the top of the screen and follow the instructions. This is a simple check Gloo put in place to safeguard against spammers.
Make sure to download our CSV template to use for your contacts. This will ensure everything is in the correct format, and you can easily copy/paste the information from your file into the template. Your CSV file must match the template exactly.
If you receive an error immediately after choosing your file to upload, the problem is most likely related to a formatting error. Please review the notes below:
Make sure your file type is in .csv format and NOT a .xls, .xlsx, etc.
Make sure your column names have not changed from the original template. They must be exactly what is in the template.
Make sure that all column names still exist. Even if you are not using a certain column, don't delete it since the system will still look for it.
Make sure that all of your contacts have the First Name field filled in, as it is required.
Make sure that all of your contacts have a Phone Number, an Email, or both. At least one of these fields is required for the upload to work.
Finally, we run a few security checks on csv files that may require a little more information. If you get a message at the very end of the process telling you the support team needs to look over your upload, please do not resubmit!
