How to log into your Gloo Workspace account

Sign in using Google or Microsoft, or use our safe and secure one time password system

Updated yesterday

Signing into your Gloo Workspace account is easier than ever! Rather than attempting to remember a long and complicated password, we have both integrated with Google and Microsoft, as well as instituted a One Time Password Authentication system. This safe and secure system eliminates the need to remember a password, and the risk of your password being compromised, by either authenticating you through your Google or Microsoft account, or sending a one time password to your email when you log into Gloo Workspace.

This new system also deactivates any old passwords you may have previously had on Gloo, ensuring that previous credentials cannot be used to gain access to your account.

Google and Microsoft Accounts

If you sign in using your Google or Microsoft account, your Google or Microsoft credentials will also be used to log into Gloo.

  1. Navigate to https://app.gloo.us/ and click Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft.

  2. Sign in through that system with your normal Google or Microsoft username and password like normal- no one time password required!

Note: We have had recent reports of Microsoft actively blocking our One Time Password emails. So if you are using a Microsoft account and have an email address that goes through Microsoft (emails using the domains @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, @msn.com, and corporate/education accounts hosted on Microsoft 365 or Exchange), we highly recommend signing in through Microsoft to prevent any issues with receiving a One Time Password.

All Other Accounts

If you do not use Google or Microsoft to sign in, our secure One Time Password authentication system will generate a code you can use to sign in.

With this system, your previous password is automatically deactivated, and only the one-time code sent to your email can be used to authenticate.

  1. Navigate to https://app.gloo.us/ and enter the email address you used to set up your Gloo account and click Continue.

  2. A one time code will be sent to your email. The email will come from no-reply@gloo.com. if you do not receive it, make sure to check your spam folder! It is also wise to add the email no-reply@gloo.com as a contact in your email to ensure the emails are not sent to spam or filtered out by your email provider.

Note: In the future we hope to support receiving one time passwords through SMS message, but for the moment only email is available.

  3. Enter that code and click Submit to sign securely into your account. The code will be valid for 10 minutes after you receive it.

  4. Your session will last for 30 days. After 30 days when you try to log in again, you'll be prompted to repeat the process and get a new code.

  5. If you have any problems, don't hesitate to reach out to us by clicking the chat bubble in the bottom right corner or your Gloo account!

Troubleshooting

Having issues signing into Gloo Workspace? Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take!

  • If your account uses a Google or Microsoft email, make sure to sign in by clicking those buttons instead of trying to receive a One Time Password! This eliminates the need to receive an email and enter a code.

  • If you aren't getting the One Time Password email, be sure to check your spam folder, and add the email "no-reply@gloo.com" as a trusted contact in your email to ensure it is not being blocked, filtered, or marked as spam.

  • If you continue to not receive the OTP after checking spam and adding the contact, please reach out to us through the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of your screen.

  • If you enter your email but instead of being taken to your account are asked for account information (name, website, etc), do not continue! You have not signed into your account, but are in the process of creating a new one. This is because the system does not recognize the email address you have entered. Please go back to the beginning and sign in again, making sure to enter the email address you originally used to sign into Gloo. If you cannot remember it, please reach out to us through the chart bubble in the bottom right corner of your screen for help.
