In order to better protect you and the people you are texting, we have enhanced our platform’s security by introducing an additional authentication process for new customers, called the Persona Identity Verification system. This is to protect against spammers and harmful users from using the Gloo App.

If you have already gone through one-time verification/verification, you will not need to complete this step. New accounts, however, will need to complete this additional authentication step before using some of Gloo's more powerful features designed to reach large audiences. These include Integrations/CSV Uploads and Broadcasts.

How to authenticate your account:

  1. Click on the Messaging menu on the left hand side.

  2. Click on Broadcasts under the Outbox menu on the left.

  3. Click on Verify Your Account to get started.

Note: This button will also show up the first time you try to send a Broadcast, if you have not already completed it here.

In order for your new account to be verified, you will need to:

  • upload an ID, such as a Driver’s License, Passport, etc.

  • take a picture using one of several available options for selfie verification.

The ID Verification system compares your picture with your ID. From there, we will know if you are verified and allow us to unlock broadcasts, CSV uploads, integrations, and more!
