  1. Create a keyword to allow congregants to text in a specific word and receive information about the upcoming event. This can be done by going to the messaging outbox, setting up the keyword with a suitable name, and defining the response to be shared.

  2. Utilize the custom QR code generator to further promote the keyword. By generating a QR code with the keyword embedded, it can be shared in various ways such as in bulletins, flyers, on social media, etc., allowing individuals to directly access Gloo's texting app with the keyword for the event. Upon sending the text, the predefined response will be triggered.

  3. Send out a broadcast to notify the congregation about the upcoming event. This can be done through the messaging outbox, selecting broadcasts, and setting up a new broadcast with the relevant information. When the broadcast is sent, the congregation will receive a text message containing the details of the event.

By implementing these strategies, the church can effectively utilize texting to promote their upcoming event and share information with the congregation.
