Welcome to your Insights tab! This part of your account is focused on connecting you to powerful data analytics, both for yourself and for other organizations like you, that show how effective you're being and that help you find ways to become even more impactful, both in your church or ministry in general and in your Gloo account specifically.

The Insights tab has three main sections: Dashboards, Assessments, and Circles. All 3 of these sections are included in a free account. Let's take a moment to briefly introduce all three, and show you how to get started.

The ability to know is oxygen to a ministry. Leaders often wonder, “How are my people doing? How effective is my ministry? How am I doing as a leader?” At Gloo, we’ve worked with partners like Barna Group to leverage technology as a way to learn and to know. We’ve learned that one of the best ways to gain knowledge is to leverage common frameworks—a mutually accepted way of viewing and communicating about something.

Through our Church Health and Church Metrics Dashboards, you can connect in with powerful data frameworks to help measure the impact of your ministry. Connect in with initiatives like State of the Church and others too see how holistically healthy your church is, and compare yourself to national averages. And finish it off by measuring how effective you are being with the messaging features in your Gloo account.

The next piece of the Insights tab is our Assessments tool. Using this tool gives you access to a library of powerful premade Assessments you can send out to your people to learn almost anything you want about your congregants. Learn how your church views Jesus or generosity, or measure your church's overall health; survey your church on men's ministry or mental health; hear from Gen Z members in your church how they are experiencing their faith; and so much more.

You can also learn about and participate in the State of the Church initiative. Gloo has partnered with Barna and others to help leaders in ministry understand current Church trends and utilize common measurements to see the flourishing of their own people and the thriving of their organization.

Measuring the 7 Dimensions of Human Flourishing and the 15 Dimensions of Church Thriving will allow you to see the health of your people and your church beyond simple attendance and giving statistics. The ChurchPulse Assessment, available for free under this section, is the easiest way to get started.

Circles are a newly launched feature on Gloo that are designed to help churches, networks, and denominations connect, learn, and share insights with one another. It provides churches with the ability to see how they compare with others in different aspects of their ministry- locally, regionally, or even nationally.

You can create a circle and invite others to join you- if they already have a Gloo account, they will be linked with you, and if they don't already have an account they can create one and also link with you. Once in your Circle, they can share their data and results from the ChurchPulse Assessment, and you can connect on next steps together. You'll also have a list of everyone in your Circle, as well as a map view showing everyone's location.
