How to add People in a mobile browser

This article will show you how to add People to your Gloo account within a mobile browser.

A Gloo profile in the People page is created for every person. Gloo profiles can be created via Church Management System integration, manual creation, and/or any time someone texts in for the first time. If someone texts in and they don't already have a profile created, Gloo automatically asks for their name and (optionally) their email.

How do I add a new person?

  1. Tap Messaging in the lower left corner, tap People.

2. Tap on Add new person & fill out all required fields marked by a red asterisk.

3. Fill out all required fields as indicated by a red asterisk. Check the I have permission to text the number I entered field and tap Create Person. The new contact will be texted with the message of "Sent by ORG NAME" and stop option of "Text STOP to opt-out." You have the option to add the new contact to Groups by tapping the Groups drop-down.

Once you have successfully created your contact - you will be able to search them under People.

Note: If you see this error message, that means the phone number is assigned to a person already in your account. Search for the phone number under People to update the contact name.
