Subscriptions in the Gloo Marketplace

Learn how to activate subscriptions right through the Gloo Marketplace

The Gloo Marketplace is your one-stop-shop for all the resources you need to make you more effective in your ministry. You can download digital products, purchase physical products, and activate subscriptions to different services.

In this article we'll walk through an example of purchasing, activating, and accessing a SermonCentral PRO Plus Subscription in the Gloo Marketplace.

Purchasing a Subscription

  1. Navigate to Discover -> Marketplace and find the subscription you are interested in.

  2. Choose the length of your subscription (monthly or yearly) and click Add Subscription to Cart.

  3. Click on your cart in the top right corner of the screen to view the cart and continue. Click Proceed to Checkout.

  4. Enter your payment info and click Pay Now.

  5. You will receive a confirmation of your purchase in the Gloo platform, as well as via email, with links you can click on to view the purchase.

Activating a Purchased Subscription

  1. Once you have purchased a subscription, two new tabs will appear in your left navigation: Apps and Subscriptions

  2. Hover over the Apps tab and select the subscription.

  3. You will be prompted to authorize the subscription- click Accept.

  4. Once you've authorized, you'll be taken to an external page with all of your subscription's resources- in this case, SermonCentral. You can click on Account to view more information on your subscription.

  5. You can view your subscription details here in SermonCentral. However, note that for any subscription management, you'll have to go to through Gloo, which will be described in the next section. Think of it like a Netflix subscription- you can stop payment and "pause" the subscription without completely closing the account. That is the equivalent of updating your subscription in Gloo vs completely closing the account in SermonCentral. Once you have canceled your subscription in Gloo, if you'd like you can come back here and click Close Account to get your account details deleted from SermonCentral.

Managing Your Subscriptions in Gloo

  1. To view your active subscriptions, go to the Subscriptions tab under your Account Settings in Gloo.

  2. You can view and manage your subscriptions here. To cancel a subscription, click Cancel Subscription.

  3. Note that you can also view your subscriptions under your Orders page, along with any other products purchased in the Marketplace.

    Note: For subscriptions billed on a monthly basis, refunds will not be issued for a subscription cancelled after the start date. When you cancel a subscription, you will retain access to the content until the end of the current billing period.
