Are you looking to send a simple text, newsletter, bulletin or all church announcement with bold headings, colorful fonts, and photos but run into a limit when sending content as a text message? Good news! With Gloo's new Memos, you can now send longer messages and include richer formatting options such as font selections, bold, italics, inserting images and adding bullet points to create eye catching messages to your Explorers and Connections!

Note: Memos are available to edit by tapping Messaging>Tools>Memos in the mobile browser environment.

How to send a Memo from Messages πŸ“£

  1. Tap on Messaging, tap on the message you want to send the Memo to & tap the paper icon:

  2. Type an Intro in the required field - Note: there is a 100 character limit for this field.

  3. Within the Memo Content field you can format rich messages here. You can select different options including: headers, fonts, bold, italicize, numbered & bulleted lists as well as the option to insert images and links. You may also center, left or right align your content.

  4. Once you have crafted the content for your memo, tap Create Memo.

  5. The Memo will populate in your Message as a link - tap Send when you're ready!

  6. The Memo will appear to your recipients as links - when they receive the message, they will tap the link to view the Memo in their mobile browser:

Note: Your Memo will appear within Gloo and to your recipient as a link. Once they click the link, they will see your crafted message with all formatting applied. Make sure your Explorers and Connections have your toll-free number saved as a contact to prevent messages from going to spam or junk folders.
