Grow confident that your communication strategies are working with Gloo’s powerful Analytics feature. You’ll have visibility into reports on how your people are engaging with the content you’re sending out, and data to optimize how your staff and volunteers are responding.

The Analytics feature, found under Measure menu, is split into 4 pieces- Attendees, Explorers, Team Response, and Feature Interactions. You can see a summary at the top of your page, and you can scroll down for more detailed information on each section. You can also click on a specific section of the summary box to automatically jump to that piece.

By default, each category will show information from the previous 30 days. You can customize this timeframe by clicking the Date Range for Analytics dropdown menu on the right side.

Attendees

This category tracks how many church congregants you are interacting with (not including Explorers, if you have a premium account). The summary box shows three statistics:

  1. How many new attendees subscribed or were added to your system in the past 30 days (or your custom date range)

  2. A total count of the all the attendees who have ever been in your system

  3. How many incoming messages you have received from your attendees in the past 30 days (or your custom date range)

When you scroll down to the expanded section, you’ll see a chart of your new subscribers from the past 30 days (or your custom date range), as well as anyone who has unsubscribed in the past 30 days (or your custom date range).

You’ll also see a chart of the days and times where you have the most interaction with attendees- the darker the color of that box, the more attendees are messaging you at that time.

Finally, there is a panel showing some behavioral insights on your attendees. Here you can find:

  1. Subscribed: The total number of Attendees who are subscribed to receive SMS text messages

  2. User sending messages: The number of subscribed Attendees who sent messages in to your phone number in the last 30 days (or your custom date range)

  3. Total Inbound Messages: The total count of incoming messages you have received in the last 30 days (or your custom date range)

Explorers

This category tracks how many Explorers you are interacting with (you must have a premium account in order to receive and interact with Explorers). The summary box shows three statistics:

  1. How many new Explorers have been matched with your account in the past 30 days (or your custom date range)

  2. How many total Explorers have been matched with your account

  3. How many incoming messages you have received from Explorers in the past 30 days (or your custom date range)

When you scroll down to the expanded section, you’ll see these same statistics, as well as a breakdown of how many Explorers you have in each of the 5 statuses an Explorer can be marked with- New Match, Engaged, Connected, Completed, and Disconnected. This breakdown is shown both in an easy to read chart, as well as a graph that shows trends over time of how many Explorers you are interacting with in each status.

Team Response

This category helps you track your team’s effectiveness in responding to both attendees and Explorers. The quicker you are in responding to people, the more engagement you’ll get with them!

The summary box shows your team’s overall average response time to reply to a Prayer Request or send the first message to an Explorer who has been matched with your account, as well as your total number of outgoing messages in the last 30 days (or your custom date range).

When you scroll down to the expanded section, the average response times are split out to show Prayer Requests and first Explorer responses. You’ll also see a chart that tracks these response times over the course of 6 weeks.

Feature Interactions

This category helps you see if your communication strategies are working by showing how people are interacting with your messages.

The summary box shows three statistics:

  1. The number of users who have texted in a Keyword or subscribed to a Series within the last 30 days (or your custom date range)

  2. The total number of users who have texted in a Keyword or subscribed to a Series from all time

  3. The total number of messages in the past 30 days (or your custom date range) that have been associated with either a Keyword or a Series

When you scroll down to the expanded section, you’ll see the total number of incoming Prayer Requests and users texting in Keywords in the past 30 days.

Next, you’ll see a graph showing the number of outgoing messages sent by you, as well as the number of Prayer Requests, Keywords, and all other messages texted in by users over the past 6 weeks.

Underneath this will be a list of your top 5 Keywords, top 5 Series, and how many users have interacted with each.

Finally, you can see a chart that breaks down your outgoing messages by type that have been sent in the past 30 days (or your custom date range)- Broadcasts, individual messages to users, and auto-responses sent by Gloo using features like Keywords and Quick Responses.

Note: If you aren’t using a particular feature, the summary box will show zeros and the expanded section will simply say “There is no data to show at this time.” For example, if you have a free account that does not include Explorers, none of those boxes will show any data.
