Attaching Resources to your messages

Share resources and products from the Discover tab and the Marketplace with your people!

Maybe you as a Gloo user have explored the vast library of resources in the Discover tab, but you've wondered how to get these valuable tools in the hands of the people you serve. Well, look no further! We are thrilled to give you the easy ability to send those videos, books, articles, links, resources and more to your people with just a few easy clicks!

When sending a message to someone, look for the icon that looks like a globe. This will let you explore and send resources from the Discover tab and Marketplace to anyone in your contact list! And don't worry- all of those resources are available to view even for someone without a Gloo account, so they won't have to worry about signing up. All they have to do is to follow the link in the message to enjoy the resource!

Where to attach a resource

Resources can currently be attached to any individual outbound message by going to Messaging -> All Messages.

They can also be attached to any message sent as part of a Workflow.

These are the only 2 places right now where a resource can be inserted, but be on the lookout for this button to appear in other places soon!

How to attach a resource

  1. Click the Globe Icon under the message.

  2. Search for or select the resource you'd like to attach. Maybe your church is going through some content from The Chosen and you'd like to send out one of the video clips. Locate the resource and click on the resource card.

  3. The resource will automatically be included in your message as a link.

  4. Add a quick message to explain what the resource is and why you are sending it. When you're ready, hit Send.
