Gloo Workspace Account Cancellation

All you need to know about canceling your Gloo Workspace account.

Your Gloo Workspace account can be canceled at any time. Typically when people talk about cancelling a Gloo Workspace account, they mean one of two things- either they would like to cancel their Gloo+ subscription and downgrade to a free account, or they would like to completely cancel their entire Gloo Workspace account, whether it is free or Gloo+.

How to cancel your Gloo+ subscription and downgrade to a free Gloo Workspace account

If you are currently subscribed to Gloo+, you are able to cancel your Gloo+ subscription at any time.

When you do this, you will lose access to your Gloo+ benefits at the end of your current billing period, but will retain a free Gloo Workspace account. None of your existing data (phone number, conversation history, contact list, etc) will be lost. But before you go, let's quickly review some key changes you will experience:

  • Messaging Credits: Free accounts offer 500 credits per month, as opposed to the 15,000 offered on Gloo+

  • Email: Free accounts offer 500 email credits per month, as opposed to the 30,000 offered on Gloo+

  • No Subaccount Access: Subaccount management features are unavailable. Your current subaccounts will no longer be attached to your main account.

  • New Movers: While you can keep your New Movers plan on Outreach, the monthly discount will no longer be applied.

  • Communications tools: Certain Communications tools like recurring Broadcasts and Polls are exclusive to Gloo+ users.

Please note that in general Gloo does not offer refunds for subscriptions that have already been paid for. Additionally, Gloo+ subscriptions are not pro-rated upon cancellation. This means you will retain access to premium features until your current billing period ends, but no partial refunds will be issued.

You can find full instructions in our Managing Your Gloo+ Subscription article, but here are a few simple steps:

  1. Head to your Subscriptions tab and click Cancel Subscription

  2. You'll then be directed to your subscription management page where you'll be prompted to confirm your cancelation.

  3. You're all set! Your Gloo+ membership will not renew, and when you go back to your Subscriptions tab it will show the date on which your subscription will cancel. The benefits of your subscription will continue to be available to you until your billing period has ended.

Note: When using this Cancel Subscription button, your entire Gloo+ subscription will be canceled, including any Messaging Powerpacks, Subaccount Powerpacks, or Custom Email Domain Powerpacks you may have as well.

How to fully cancel your Gloo Workspace account (Free or Gloo+)

If you would like to completely cancel your Gloo Workspace account so that no one can access it all anymore, please reach out to support by clicking the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of your screen, and we are happy to help! You will not be able to do this on your own.

If we cancel your account, we will remove access from all team members and fully cancel the account. Your contacts, phone number, messaging history, etc, will all be lost and cannot be recovered. If you decide to restart an account with Gloo at a later date, our team will try to find your same phone number, but the likelihood of recovering it is very low.
